Description
Klotz Synthetic FREE-GEAR Hypoid gear lubricant is a line of lubricants for automotive and motorsports differentials. The primary additive package is designed specifically to protect hypoid gearsets from wear and corrosion. The formulation is boosted with additional corrosion inhibitors, friction modifiers, and extreme pressure anti-wear chemistry to further enhance performance. It also contains air release agents to suppress foam and prevent aeration during high-speed operation.
These products are compatible with most seal materials and exceed the performance requirements of API GL-5.
FREE-GEAR hypoid is available in a wide range of viscosity grades to suit specific operating requirements. The higher viscosity grades are optimized for extreme applications such as desert endurance racing.
