APR PEX intake systems are attractive high-performance upgrades designed to increase performance by letting the engine breathe more freely.
Their closed airbox design rejects power-robbing heat from the engine bay thanks to the high-heat deflection material used, and it provides an unrestrictive path for cold, dense air fed from outside of the engine bay to maximize power. A high-flow, reusable filter provides excellent filtration without the restrictions, which keeps the engine clean while optimizing power delivery.
APR PEX intake systems recorded a 31 percent cfm improvement over the factory airbox, which translates into a sharper throttle response, lessened strain on the turbocharger, and more horsepower and torque.
